When luxury community DC Ranch wanted to revamp the bar area of its clubhouse, they decided to create a statement piece. GrayLeaf Studio artisans met the challenge, producing a one-of-a-kind hub for drinks and fare.
Proving that size does matter, they created this 30-foot bar top in GrayLeaf’s signature “drunken zinc” hammered finish —all as a single piece. The natural beauty of zinc shines through without any added patina. A custom hand-made edge detail, coupled with a dark wood base warms up the contemporary, industrial feel of the top.
The large-scale project took a month to complete between design, fabrication and construction. While the actual installation at DC Ranch only took a few hours, it required the entire GrayLeaf team to pull off. Seven people were required just to carry the bar inside.
